Behold a Pale Horse, Part 3

I've been working hard on this "horse" model, grabbing what little free time I have just to finish it. The rig isn't perfect, but the model will need only a few tweaks here and there to be done. I lack sleep and can hardly write coherently, so I'll let my screenshots do all the talking. Together, they should be worth a couple of thousand words, more or less.

Thanks, guys. You're very generous with your compliments. To be honest, I'm not entirely happy with this creature, but I don't want to spend too much time on any one model, so it will have to do for now. On the other hand, those same feelings of mine extend to just about every creature I created since the start of this project. Time permitting, I might try to improve them when I'm done making a first version of each.

Four months ago, I offered to write a tutorial for Casadechrisso on how to convert armor made by Skyrim custom content makers into NWN2 armor. If a battle can be likened to a multi-course meal, the boss is the pièce de résistance , the culminating moment to which all other minor encounters lead. There is more to designing a memorable boss encounter than giving the boss far more hit points and damage than most other enemies. A New Home for BoB

My most popular contribution to the defunct NWVault was a module called Battle of the Builds. I like to call it BoB for short. As of last count, BoB had gotten a total of 31 votes with an average rating of 9.63 out of 10. With over 18,000 downloads, this module earned a place in the Vault's Hall of Fame. (I didn't memorize any of these stats, by the way. I had to look them up in the Wayback Machine .) As the Vault had breathed its last about a month ago, BoB had been homeless during this time. Thanks to Thibaut Charles, whose comment in my last blog post alerted me to the spiritual successor of the old Vault, BoB now has a new home. Players can download the Battle of the Builds at the Neverwinter Vault . I don't really expect BoB to get much attention anymore. Its glory days are long gone. Still, it's nice to know that BoB has a new place to hang its hat in and reminisce with fellow refugees from the old Vault.
