R.I.P. Neverwinter Vault

I recently found out that the Neverwinter Vault had closed for good about a month ago. Although I had already said farewell to Neverwinter Nights a couple of years back, I feel as if a part of me had just died. Quite a few of my creative efforts were at the Vault – some 3D models, a couple of scripts, and my piece de resistance, the popular and highly rated Battle of the Builds module. I should also add that I had contributed a short but atmospheric adventure to BouncyRock's Halloween campaign, another popular mod that also garnered high ratings. All those contributions amounted to several months of my life. Now they're gone, all gone.

To me, the death of the Vault marks the passing of an era, a golden age of prolific modding that I had never known before or since. It was through modding Neverwinter Nights that I learned how to program combat AI and create 3D models. I had helped and been helped by fellow modders at the official forums. It was a wonderful experience, and I will always cherish the memory of sharing this fine hobby with fellow enthusiasts from all over the world.

I've already said goodbye to the game. Now it's time to say goodbye to the Vault. Farewell to all the files that I had poured my heart and soul into. I take comfort in the thought that my contributions had provided some brief moments of enjoyment to other players.

I can't figure why IGN closed the vault, since it was still very used by the NWN community...
Many projects are being re-hosted on neverwintervault.org. Could you re-host your awesome work?
Some players of my PW server are looking for a valid URL to download the Battle of the Builds

Thanks for the heads up, Thibaut. I tried to register a new account at neverwintervault.org, but it looks like the site admin will have to manually approve my application. I'll upload Battle of the Builds as soon as my application is accepted.

Better late than never, looks like someone migrated a lot of the content over already. Noticed some of my stuff on the new website. (Did a search for my name and it came up with it lol)

@anduraga,
